Heart Rate Variability (HRV), which refers to the variations in time intervals between individual heartbeats, provides valuable information about a person’s autonomic nervous system and cardiovascular health. It serves as a useful indicator to assess training status, recovery phase, and stress levels.

In combination with Intermittent Hypoxia-Hyperoxia Training (IHHT), HRV measurement offers the following benefits:

Monitoring: Evaluating HRV allows us to assess how the body responds to IHHT and how well it adapts to hypoxia. This enables optimal customization of the training based on individual performance.

Recovery: HRV also helps to gauge the recovery status of the individual undergoing training. It allows for optimizing the timing between periods of exertion and rest, leading to more effective training.
